hello i have the 60 gb play 3 and comes with an ethernet cable i have a modem adsl but i cannot configure it to play online helpme please

Purchase a router, it will make your life alot easier.

Plug your modem into the wall.
Plug your Router into the Modem.
Plug a computer into the router and set it up as per the install guide for your router.
Plug your PS3 into the router and walaaa.......
