First, make sure your computer's slowness problems are as a result of using Yahoo Answers, and not some add-on in Internet Explorer.

If you have a search 'toolbar' of some kind, then you have an add-on.

If this add-on is unwanted (unless the toolbar is Yahoo or Google or something, then it probably is unwanted), you should search the internet for help uninstalling it.

Assuming you don't have an 'add on' to Internet Explorer, try deleting your internet files.

Incidentally, if you find browsing the web is quite slow in general, you might want to give a program called Mozilla Firefox a try.

It's better for other things too - like spell checking as you type, and 'tabs' that separate pages - but I'm only recommending it because it might be a quick and simple way to solve your problem.

nope, not mine unless i am running a lot of programs all at the same time then it will slow down, i would recommend doing disk clean up often, defrag often (start, programs, system tools).....and also there is a program that you can download free from the net called Ccleaner, it help alot too. other than that if you pc runs slow all the time you may have spyware on it i would run a virus scan and a spyware and malware scan and see if anything shows up....good luck

no because i delete my temporary internet files often :) that might be the source of your problem... you can do this by going to the tools tab and selecting internet options... a window will pop up and one of the options will be to delete temp internet files :) hope that helps :)
