Not really. Time is the backbone of society. We couldn't have gone anywhere without it. Without time, there would be 40 hr work week, no opening/closing time, no recess, no speed limits for the cars we wouldn't have because we would be going anywhere. You couldn't plan trips. How much supplies do you bring? You wouldn't know, because you wouldn't know how long you would be gone. There would be no christmas, no new years, or eve, and no birthdays. There would be no fields because no one knows when to plant fields or how often to cultive them, or when to reap them.

In essescence, we would still be nomadic hunter/gathers running out whenever we get hungery. there would only be now.

MORE HAPPY! Not to long ago I tried to figure out just who was responsible for the concept, but found that no single person could be blamed. No rushing, no deadlines....no stress. Sure, the would would be one huge chaotic mess, but I would be on the beach since my mother couldn't ask me when I'd be home, or rather, tell me when to be home.

It keeps the world in order... but I understand where you're coming from. You would get up when ever you want, fall asleep when ever, etc.... but I think it would be even more influential if there was no such thing as money, or war between countries.
