In a pageant, contestants have to choose an issue that they feel strongly towards, and that becomes their platform. What do you think would be a good one?

Hmm, tough question.
I'd say:
Wildlife Conservation/Conservation of Natural Resources
Pro-Life (or Pro-Choice, whichever you are)
Equal Rights for all
Education of Impoverished (sorry if I spelled that wrong) Children

and I'm sure there's many other ideas, but that's what I could come up with. And don't forget, pick something that YOU feel strongly about, not what other people feel strongly about. =)
also... sorry if I misunderstood your question and this answer is completely messed up. lol

1. Pick something that you don't mind giving speaches about if you win, that is normally a requirement.
2. Pick something that you can relate to like Children with learning disablilties (if you or some one close to you had an issue with it) Something that you are considering going to college for. Teaching = children reading programs
Real Estate = habitat for humanities every family deserves a home
Banking = Find a group that helps student learn the value of money
3. Don't pick a touchy issue because you don't know your judges past. You also don't want to come off to strong. For example if you strong into politics don't pick a party do something like vote smart or getting people registered to vote. Instead of Pro-Choice or Pro-Life choice something that you would work with teenagers promotting healthy life style choices.

Have fun with it and Good Luck

no. i don't experience it truly is an foremost pagean platform. Are you bent? How ought to an adolescent understand? little ones desire someone to exhibit them in which to flow. they don't desire to make the kind of selection themselves. in reality, they could't. 14 huh? then you actual're on the fringe of an adult and also you should understand better. shame on you.

I would vote for a contestant who wanted to do something nice for our veterans. Even though I hate the war, I know we can't do enough for the men and women who have to go fight it.

My platform would be to teach American's (and others) to be helpful to eachother. Wouldn't it be a better place to live if everyone could just be NICE? Road rage, traffic stress, school shootings...it would all decline.

Well the obvious one is 'world peace'. But that will be used a lot. So how about 'random acts of kindness'.

I'd want it to be"

Bring back the principles on which this country was founded. If you are an American, speak English; embrace our Constitution; respect our flag and other Americans and above all, thank a veteran...............

Ask yourself some question to figure out how you feel.

Here are some examples:

•How do you fell about abortion?
•Difficult things in life (bullying, harassment, drunk driving, being poor, etc.)
•Medical things (cancer, diabetes, heart problems, etc.)
•Volunteering
•Tutoring
•People with special needs

I can only answer what I would choose. What someone else chooses is up to them.
