basically what party. if republican, why? and don't say this country will go to ruins if Democrats win because under Clinton, it flourished.

I would not vote for either of those media panderers.
The Republicans have several candidates including Mitt Romney without having to go with a fake Republican. I think the Democrats can do way better than Edwards & he is from my state. He is a media hungry person who did not even do his job the couple of years he chose to serve in the Senate. He quit to help the Democrats lose. He wants to be president not serve the people. I would probably vote with the most conservative & that would never be McCain.

Edwards. He's not my favorite at all, but McCain is still hot headed and he will be 72 or 73 and I think that is too old to start being president for the 1st term.
I hope I'm voting for Hillary or Obama.
The only republican I would consider is Guliani.

I think at this point I would vote for Sam Brownback (R. Kansas), since he is the politician most in line with my values and beliefs.
If I had to vote for one of the 2 men above, it would be McCain, but I really hope I will not be forced to vote for him for President, since he seems to only be concerned about the War in Iraq without stating his views on all of the other big issues confronting our nation at this time.
