I'm a guy and don't like tatoos on a girl...how do others feel?

I think that's totally ok. There could be a fantastic gal out there, but you won't look at her because she has a tattoo (many times you can't even tell until you see her entire body anyway!) But hey, I think that is totally up to you to decide. But it shouldn't affect anyone BUT you though.

Wow, I'm glad there are still guys out there that feel that way. I look at a girl with tatoos and my first thought is she looks like she has a dirty spot on her.

I think a woman's body is meant to be free from any mars, just nice smooth, soft looking and didn't gothic romances describe a woman's skin as creamy?

Truly, looking at a woman with tatoos is like seeing a smudge dirty spot on her and then when I realize its a tatoo, I think of hardness not softness but by then I'm looking at the heart.

I'll probably get "creamed" for this because I'm a woman.

I can understand why you wouldn't like them, maybe you believe them to be trashy, but how would you feel if a girl turned you away just because she didn't like something about your body. Let's say you have a peircing that you are fond of and means a lot to you then you meet a girl and hit it off pretty well, but she hates your peircing and wants you to remove it. First you should be mad that she doesn't respect that part of you, and second I wouldn't want to try something with someone who dislikes something about you so small. The point is if a girl likes you and she has tattoos... just see if you can get past that. I'm not saying a million tattoos isn't disgusting because I'm a girl and I think that's trashy on a girl, but less than 5 can't hurt.

I do not like tatoos on any body.I appreciate the art work but I see the violation of a body that God designed and made. The same goes for piercing of everything except ear lobes on women.Both are contrary to the Bible.

It doesn't bother me, but I do prefer untainted skin. I love a woman with nice, unblemished skin. I also like a sophisticated looking woman, and unfortunately tatoos are often not too sophisticated looking. That being said, to each his own.

I know a few guys who don't like them on girls.

I have 4.... my friend had 11 by the time she was 21.

I think they are body art! I like to think of them as an expression of personality and symbol of something significant to the person.

I don't think the whole sleeve (arm) for example being done is something I would consider doing but i have seen a few georgeous looking tatts on girls lately which are very original and creative.

Well you're definitely free to your own opinon. Just don't let it get in the way of friendships or anything. My brother doesn't like tattoos but his girlfriend of 4 years has 3 from before they met and they're still going good so he obviously wasn't letting that get in the way of their relationship and she hasn't gotten any more since they met so it seems they both did a little compromise and it's working out well.

so dont go out with tatooed girls ,what ever your opinion it will not get rid of tatoos.
personally i dont like tatoos on anybody unless its a discreet beautifull tatoo and then whether its on a man or a woman makes no difference to me
its not something i loose any sleep over.

I don't mind if a lady has one or two tattoos, but more than that and I don't find them that attractive. That's just my opinion, though. I'm sure there are plenty of guys that couldn't care less how many tattoos a woman has.

I personally don't care for tattoos at all. God chose to make us in the way he wished. A tasteful tattoo doesn't really bother me, but people that ink practically their whole body just makes me wonder about their self esteem.
