Ok, here you go. No, I don't want the US to win the war. There you go. I just want the US out of Iraq. It's like another Vietnam! It's really not about being liberal or conservative--it's about Bush being totally insane!

Because liberals never directly answer a question. Liberals do not get that we are at war. They do not care. All they care about is winning power. Rush Limbaugh talks about this all the time.

Maybe it's the wrong question. We already won the Iraq war. Remember knocking down the statue, the purple thumbed voters, the Sadaam Hussein trial, "Mission Accomplished"? We just cant restore peace. If you mean the War on Terror, you can't win that. We've had domestic terrorists for years. We'll have foreign ones for years too. Its like trying to stop murder. Sure it would be nice, but not very realistic.

Oh thats brillant! Im so tired of hearing the children on yahoo argue over conservative and liberal. Wake up we all want what we think is good for this country. We all love America We just don't see eye to eye on how to acomplish that.
Im tired of hearing how liberals don't care for their country or how conservatives are stupid and are trying to ruin the nation. Do you honestly think thats what anyone is trying to do.

its not just 'liberals' there are some evasive politicians out there that try to not associate themselves, so that more people will vote for them (apply to a broader spectrum) but they dont support the war, and its kind of pointless, because theres not much to win against, just an idea ('terrorism') and they cant very well say they want to lose can they?

Because us liberals realize that we aren't going to win the war. We're only going to send more men into a questionable war in a country that should have been left alone. So, I would answer "I don't care, as long as we get out as soon as possible!"

Could be they are afraid that if they commit to an answer, one day it will come back and bite them in the rear.

It is funny to see them attempt to non answer that question. I see that there is even a person who answered your question who said that we would first have to define winning. Are they serious, do they not really understand what a victory is?

What kind of person wants their country to lose a war? You are an excellent argument for birth control.
