Let me tell you something. Anyone who forces you into an eating disorder is not your friend. Just because Hollywood girls weigh 123 lbs and are 5'7" doesn't mean you have to be. The ideal woman/man varies for everyone. Of course, as we know it, thin bosomy women tend to be preferred these days. Why worry about losing weight to satisfy others. Over time, "ideal" will become worse and worse and beauty will become nearly impossible to aquire. There will always be something "not good enough" for someone no matter how much self-improvement you undergo. If you're comfortable in your own skin, that truly is all that matters.
No matter how your parents feel, it's not okay for them to put you down, not even if they are looking out for you. Stand your ground on the issue and try to do so without putting them down. Someone who will give you an honest, unbiased opinion without criticism is a doctor. If you do want to lose the weight, you should do it in a healthy fashion. See a doctor, fitness center, your gym/health teacher or school nurse for guidance.
A side note: The issue with your parents needs attention. What they're doing to you is a form of abuse. I think your whole family should go to family therapy sessions. If you're a little uneasy about this, talk to someone you trust about the issue. Maybe they'll give you better advice. I hope your self confidence hasn't been diminished. Best of luck to you.

How rude. a individual's skill to be a competent ascertain isn't in accordance with their weight or possessions. My mom is extremely heavy and purely at present had lapband surgical treatment and he or she is turning out to be to be skinny returned. I surely have my father's genes and that i replaced into purely 122 lbs once I gave start. I had gained the pronounced 30 lbs. 3 days once I introduced my son i replaced into a hundred lbs. and my metabolism speeded up so now i'm underweight and attempting to income. i in my opinion get accused of being anorexic. >:l My mom replaced into wonderful whilst she replaced into skinny and whilst she replaced into fat and that i take after her and that i'm a tremendously darn good mom even even with the indisputable fact that i'm a boney little butt. Lol... do no longer hear to whoever stated that. She's full of what i like to call, poo. yet in different words. I verify my kin has spectacular issues and we are residing in a spectacular abode yet that has no longer something to do with the undeniable fact that i'm skinny.

I wouldn't say your fat but i know for your hight your weight is suppose to be 105-120 so you answer your own question . If your happy with yourself though then why should it matter . For your parents I would just lay down the law even though it will hurt . Tell them that you like who you are and if they can accept the way you look and the way you are then you will have to cut them off till they do cause it hurts to much to have a relationship with them on how things are going now .
Hope this helps .

well....im not going to be mean and tell you are fat. but you might be a hair over weight for your hieght. but just think that you are pleasantly plump! thats what i say, and my bf too. well yes fast food doesnt help. and i know its sooo hard to give up!!!
but you can do it.just stick to a diet. you dont have to starve yourself! i know what you mean when you feel sick is you dont eat. its beacause your body isnt use to it. iam the same way. so when im hungrary i eat something healthy.
like peaches, oranges(speacially these, they give you energy and make your hair healthy and you feel better.)
or even ice cream is ok too. but not like 20 times a day! i love ice cream! i could live off of that, but it is too a dairy product and its actualy a little bit healthy.
but yes lay off the cheese! a little bit is fine. and work out! like do some crunches, i have a cheap abroller and i use it at night when im watching TV, and if you cant get one, use a skateboard or a rollerboard. i use to do that b4 i got an abroller. but good luck! and if you want to loose weight, u can do it!

I'm not trying to be rude, but you need to lose some weight. At 5' 2" you should weigh around 110-115 lbs. You might not eat cheeseburgers, but subway and quiznoes (sp?) are still fast food, and aren't very healthy. Even Subway is unhealthy if you eat to much, you don't really need to "Exercise" ...just try going for walks if you want to lose the weight. If you walk at least once each day, or at least twice in two days, you can acually burn off claories and loose quite some weight. Once again, I'm sorry if I offended you.
If you are trying to lose weight and need motivation or support, I may help ya!!
As for your parents...they are very rude sounding. Sorry if I'm offending you, but parents are supposed to give you love, and support you. My mother always yells "No big nosed girls in the living room today, Ana, Sorry!!" Jsu tto torture me... but you are an adult, you don't need to deal with that.
The next time that one of your parent says something like that to you, stand up for yourself and try to be stern, and harsh. Tell them that you are trying to lose weight, or trying to be a better person, if they keep treating you like that, you should just ignore and stop talking to them.
Good luck!

you should check out the calories for the Subway and Quiznos subs....some of them have a TON of calories in them. Like the meatball ones and the ones with mayo and cheese...then you have to add the calories of the bread (which has more calories than you think)
bottom line is the only healthy subs are the ones shown on TV or that say low fat/low calories

Well, I'm 16, 5'2" and weigh about 100lbs. Usually someone who is that tall should be the most 110, maybe a few pounds more?
Your parents aren't being very nice. Maybe they are being this way because of their lifestyle. If they're stressed out, they're probably just taking it out on you. You should tell them that it hurts your feelings when they say things like that.

I had parents like that too. They don't do it intentionally they just get into a rut and you cop the blunt of it. Try not to listen to them (just let it go over your head) If your 20 they're what 40-50+?
Probably going through mid life changes and guess who gets caught in the firing line..... It can only affect you as long as you let it so I'd detach a little from them during these years . Love them but don't take what they say to heart.

They only wish the best for you. Your their daughter and they want only the best for you. You are not fat so you shouldn't be worried. You don't always have to listen to your mom but it would be best if you did don't go anerexic just eat salads and food with less carbs. Fat foods can make you fatter. Don't worry your pretty anyways weight is not an issue.

You're a pretty girl. Your parents are a bad influence. I'm sorry to say that but it's the truth. Just avoid them like for 3 months and then see how they feel.
