how do I download songs on to my Ipod from a CD?

Use a program like audiograbber to convert your CD to mp3 files on your computer.
Once you have those, use Winamp, Windows Media Player, Realplayer, or whatever you use to listen to music on your computer to sync with your iPod and move the new files over.
You DO NOT need iTunes to use an iPod.

You can't. You need the iTunes program to import the songs from the CD to your iPod.
It goes from CD -> computer with iTunes -> iTunes to iPod
This is just the way that Apple works. Many other MP3 and MP4 players function the same way, and will require you to have a certain program on your computer that will do the actual importing onto the device for you.

first, open itunes. then just put your cd in the computer and it says 'import'.. then after all of it has been copied onto your computer just click 'sync into ipod' or which ever it is. and it should be in your ipod by then.

As far as i know, you need itune to put songs onto your ipod, plus itunes is FREE any way.

put your cd in the computer and the itunes with come up saying you have entered a cd and ask you if you want to burn it.

an iPod only works together with iTunes, so you must download it

you need to install itunes or it won't work
what you need to do is install itunes
then copy the songs from your cd onto the hardrive (computer)
then put them into itunes
then connect your device to the computer and it will put the songs on there.

There is some thrird party software that u can use instead of itunes in not sure wat the names of these are though.
