Everyone lives in a neighborhood. No for reals I know what you mean. All there trying to do is place there mark on a map. You know what I mean. Trying to act gangster. And just because there from a wealthy family don't mean that they can't be hood bound.I don't now what city or neighborhood you live in but I seen a lot of good family's with decent money that live in the "hood" and good parents and there kids do the gangster thing. I think the kids your talking about watches to much t.v. or movies. And they know some of those movies are true and to them it looks cool to be that way. In realty I know it's not. I lived in the inner city in L.A. in south central. My kids were raised in the "hood" in two of my daughters like the gangster life and 1 daughter goes to collage in didn't like that type of staff and my 2 boys are not gangster either. I moved out of the hood but the hood still follows my two daughters. And these kids don't realize is not a good life. Because later in life all that catches up with you. This little white kids who think its the thing to do need to live with a family form the hood in see it for them selfs.

Because being hard is cool now.
When preppie comes back in style, you will be asking why all the city kids are walking around with riding jacket on knowing that can't get NEAR a horse without going for their inhalers.
It is a passing phase. The next one could be better or worst, so just brace yourself.

Because they don't realize Ghetto life is full of need, fear, pain and desperation. It's the glorified, romanticized version of this that they aspire to, and most will probably never understand it's more than a game of dress-up, cars, bling, and corporate bubblegum hip-hop and rap.

Who exactly are "all" the white kids you're referring too?

I think that is only "happening" in the U.S.A.

& it's probably because of MTV.
