I need 2 or 3 small lights that are powerful and can change color for a disc ball. any thoughts or ideas? i also would like them to be semi cheap since my company is paying for them...

BUY what you need. Do not try to make it. You could cause a fire! I have had good luck with Chauvet products. You might want to check them out. Well priced, decent quality.
