I met this woman 3 years ago through the local school, we became friends and now we see each other a lot, we have such a good time when were together. The problem I have is that I truly beleive that I love her, I just cant get her off my mind, I just want to hold her and kiss her. She is just getting a divorce from her husband so she needs me a lot at the moment which I'm finding really hard as I feel I just want to tell her how I feel. I have been married many years and love my husband and children very much, but I just dont know what to do as she is all I want.

Have you considered a polyamorous relationship. One where your husband knows and gives his ok. One where your woman friend knows your married and accepts it. Talking about it with each of them is what has to come first. Find out their respective feelings about this.

I had two female friends in a similar situation, except both wanted to remain married to their husbands. Eventually, they all got together. They all live together now, only the guys aren't lovers with each other. They are all in love and have a very large family (10 kids).

Normally, I wouldn't condone cheating but nowadays it's hard to find Mr. or Ms. Right. That's a tough question. Personally, I'd talk to my husband and my kids. You and her will not be the only ones affected by this (if indeed that you and her want to be together.) Find out most important of all, how you're kids would react. Your husband may not be with you "forever" but your kids will. You don't want them loathing you in the long run. And I would already feel a sense of guilt because my feelings are hidden and now they're more strong because I'm spending so much time with her. Guilt is a hard emotion to overcome. So, make sure it's something you really want. And good luck. Wishing you both the best. :)

Wow. That is a very difficult thing to deal with. Sexuality and attraction is a very complex issue. We don't always understand why or how it came to be. The first thing you have to focus on is your marriage. Determine if remaining with your husband is most important. Just because you love him doesn't mean you have to remain married and stay with him. It's your heart that is most important here. With that in mind, you also have to consider, perhaps she doesn't feel the same way. She may have something like friendship in mind and nothing more. So be prepared to be rejected. I hate to say that but it is likely what would happen. But that won't change how you feel inside about her or the idea of being with a woman. I say be true to yourself. Don't wake up 20 yrs from now regreting your life. But be clear as to what you really want, more importantly what you really need. Even if your freind feels as you do, would she be content as the other person and be content with you remaining married to your husband...doubtful.

Simply put be sure of your heart and your mind. Know what you want for the rest of your life. Then act on it.

If this is the first time you've had these feelings then it's probably just a passing thing. Maybe things between you & your husband aren't so good as well and you're just looking. Try to not look at her that way but just as a friend that needs your help. If it continues, talk with you Priest, rabbi whatever and discuss it maybe even a therapist. Do these things before you make your feelings know to her. Remember, you made a lifelong comittment to your husband and now your children. Be very careful about the path you choose because it will affect them as well.

Something is def wrong about this maybe u need to talk to someone to help u out, i think something else is bothering u,.idk what but there must be something & u found the wrong way to deal with it. Please get help from a professional for ur & ur kids sake at least.Good luck.

if you really love your husband, you will tell him your predicament and he will either understand or not. i would be careful telling her tho. she might be a bit uncomfortable with that information....
