We just bought a new modular home. Every window in it has a 2" x 4" manufacture sticker on them. How do I remove these without using a razor blade?

Rub the stickers and surrounding glass with a generous amount of dish detergent. Let it sit for about 15 minutes. You should then be able to peal them off easily with your hands or with a putty knife.

Easy. 2 ways to do it, either use a single sided razor blade and work the blade under the label and working forward, peel it up, or use a wonderful product called Goo Gone, small plastic bottle, clear, amber-orange liquid inside, most grocery stores and home improvement/ hardware stores sell it. Rub it on the sticker, allow to stand, rub in some more, let stand and then using a metal spatula, try working the sticker off, should come off fairly easy once saturated, and no sticky residue will be left behind. This stuff removes tough sticky cooked on grease spots around stoves and ovens.

There is this great product on the market called "Desolvet". I live in a small town so Wal-Mart is the only discount store and they carry it. It is located on the same isle as the "Pledge" and other furniture polish. This is also great to pretreat stains on clothing. I have a 2 1/2 yr old and have saved many out fits by using this. You will probably need to rinse your windows with a "Windex" type cleaner or just plain vinegar. Hope I have helped. psb

the best way is to spray the window with window cleaner and then scrape it with a razor blade, i own a glass company and i would not ever try to get that off without a razor blade, the only thing is to keep it wet so that it wont scratch, if you put some kind of chemical on it, it will get gummy

Peel them off and for the residual glue use goof off or rub the area with newspaper and windex. Goof off is quicker but both works well. If the stickers are hard to remove, then apply warm/soapy water to them and try again

Well I dont know if it will work on windows but to get price stickers and stuff off of things I usually use rubbing alcohal or fingernail polish remover. (One of the 2 I cant remember)

Had basically the same problem with some windows in our house. Windex & Goo Gone always worked for, but you can also use: alcohol-based products such as nail polish remover or 90%+ rubbing alcohol.

I have heard that using a hair drier works well to get the sticker to loosen up and not leave a bunch of tackiness behind. Good luck!

I have tried fingernail polish remover, hot soapy water, windex, and alcohol, and many other cleaners (goo gone, BAM, etc.) The best thing that works for me is vinegar! It might be smellier, but it works best! And yes, use a scraper for the big ones!
