Has anyone read Firestarter by Stephen King. What did you think of it compared to his other works...

It's a good introduction to Stephen King if you're not sure whether horror is the right genre for you.

It's got alot of action and supernatural stuff, but without as much suspense or plain creepy bits as some of his books do.

It's also a book I would love to read a sequal to. I mean, what does happen next do lil'Charlie?

I loved this novel - I think King's earlier novels are a much better style of writing than some of his later works (more recently Cell and Lisey's Story, left me wishing for the tones of the earlier works such as Carrie, The Shining, Cujo and Firestarter)

Yes have read it also saw the movie, I like it very much. But there's not much he puts out I don't like. :)

Not his best book but it is very exciting. He is a good action writer.

Loved it, but I think that "The Stand" is his best book ever
