If you have, how long did it take you? What is it about that particular person that makes them your soul mate?

No I haven't found my soul mate, but I would like my soul mate to be able to make me laugh and smile. My soul mate, if I had a soul mate would need to mainly understand me because sometimes I get mad at someone an I take my anger out on others and other things that I do. My soul mate would also have to be loving, care, respect me for who I am, understanding of my feelings and who I am. Also so much more.

I have found my soul mate. We found each other in 1994, but it wasnt until 8 yrs after that that we realized we were meant to be together. He is my soulmate because he completes me. There's this one movie where Ashton Kutcher is telling his girlfriend's father that he loves her so much because they are so different and because she is everything that he is not, she completes him. He goes on to say that now that he knows what's its like to be complete he cannot imagine going back to being just half of himself without her. That's exactly the way I feel about my soul mate. He's so much different than I am in every way (He's athletic, I'm overweight. He's silly, I'm shy. He's spontaneous, I'm cautious, etc, etc, etc.) He is the person I would least think that I would be spending my life with, but its been 3 and 1/2 yrs now and I honestly cannot imagine my life without him. Without him, I wouldnt be me.
