it depends, what did they do to mess up the first chance. do you really think things will be different the second time around? if they did it before...its very possible they will do it again. you have a lot of things to reconsider. and if they were a good friend/ boyfriend/ or whatever they wouldnt really need a second chance because they would have never messed up the first time.

well, generally, yas, but if you have given them way more than a second chance, and they still have screwed up, then its time to end the relationship, or friendship.
