Don't waste your phone bill calling their call centre because they just do the recorded message thing for ages and then ask you if you want to hold and then cut you off.
I got tired of it and called ENERGYWATCH. They are the monitoring service which covers British Gas, I think they used to be called Offgas.
They answered immediately and dealt with my problem in minutes, whereas I'd been waiting for nearly 3 weeks and making non stop calls to British Gas for the same thing. My gas bill said I owed £64,000!!!!! ENERGYWATCH looked into my account and found out that British Gas actually owed me £94. It took about 5 minutes to sort out and the man was very pleasant.
Give them a call 08459090708

I often call the range for brand new purchasers at the same time as i favor to get some shopper service from utitliy organizations. They answer speedy as a flash in the journey that they imagine you're desirous to provide them new company. i assume they placed better components into dealing with sales calls than courtroom circumstances.

I usually call the number for new customers when I want to get some customer service from utitliy companies. They answer quick as a flash if they think you are wanting to give them new business.
I suppose they put more resources into handling sales calls than complaints.

It doesn't make any difference if you get through or not, I have been trying to sort out a problem since October, and each time I phone up I get told a different story. They have all told me they would sort it out - but of course no one has!! If I could get my hand through the phone I would wring someones neck!!

That's almost like asking whether miracles happen today. I waited so long on the phone to get an answer, that I got fed up and moved to Spain 3 years ago. Don't know whether they ever answered ! ! ! !

Yes I tied a message to a brick and threw it through their window. I'm pretty sure it got through.
