I hava an Ipod nano 2GB. It says that it has only used up 1.72 GB of space and won't add anymore songs from my computer. What can I do to fix this problem? How do you manually add songs?

it is full. the rest of the space is taken up by the itunes program that runs your music.

The quality of and the size of the songs that are on your ipod will define the amount of space that is left for those files.

well first of all a 2gb doesnt mean that u can get 2gbs worth of songs on it b/c it needs space to hold the spftware to run the ipod. the amount of music and pics that u have on your ipod right now is probally all ur going to get on it.

I'm not entirely sure but I think that space that should be left is taken up by the other stuff that is already on the iPod when you buy it. Like you know, clock, games, settings. I'm guessing that might be it.

The remaining space is probably being used by other components - games or contacts.
