OK -- it is a copyright-ed DVD which means you can't legally copy it. There are DVD ripper programs available which will allow you to "Back Up" the DVD to your hard drive or to a DVD burner. If you Google DVD Ripper you may find one of these programs -- some are free to download and try some are not so free.

a compaq V5000 dosent have a DVD copier drive. hence you cannot really copy a DVD. Kindly ascertain if your computer has a DVD Drive.

why do you want to copy the film instead of watching it without it taking up your hard drive space as films only come in large GB form up to 4.7GB just watch it then take it out is my point of view.
