It is utterly horrific and needs to be stopped.

If you mean female circumsision (the removal of the clitoris) then...

It is HORRIBLE.
I feel like it takes away a woman's right to claim her own sexuality and turns her into a hole for her husband to use as he pleases. It turns a woman into more of an object, making her no different from a blow up doll.
While it isn't as common as male genital mutilation (circumsision) the practice still goes on.
It's kind of like foot binding in China. No one was saying that it was to keep women prisoners, but every one knew it.

I wouldn't know about female genital mutilation. But I've been known to "Beat it up" from time to time though. Mutilation just sounds too much like a waste. ;)

This is very popular in some African countries. It is suppose to keep a wife true to her man. In any case it is horrible and there is world wide action to do away with this treatment of woman.

I don't think it's natural. You're born with what you've got. I also think that women should appreciate what they have and not mess with it. There are people in other societies and cultures who find this to be absolutely normal, but I would have to disagree.

I found this practice terrifying, but I did, however, read a very good article on this subject giving me many new aspects to consider in this issue. I would suggest you all check it out: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/73906/female_genital_mutilation.html

It's inhuman! It's wicked and inexcusable! I think the men who preform such a procedures should have there's done.

Terrible. I've seen and read so many sad stories on this torture. I once heard a little african girl died when her husband tried to have sex with her. They sewed her up and she bleed to death years later. sad.

This is a most despicable act. There is no moral defense for it.

Whoever invented this procedure, and all who promote it today should have their gonads removed so they can't enjoy sex either.
