It will never stay at that price. I got lucky and bought a refurbished MacBook Pro from Apple for $1,600. It's a 15" 2.16GHz with 1GB of RAM, a 100GB HD and a SuperDrive.

Some new things on ebay you can get super cheap. I got my brand new Canon 9950 scanner for like $323(retail $499) I was leary but lo and behold, one week later, a brand new scanner IN THE BOX , was at the front doorstep, from pagecomputers.com. Go to pcworld.com and check on the computer there and also check on pricegrabber.com, what the stores sell them for. NOT ALL ITEMS on Ebay, are cheaper. Some new items they sell in computer stuff is old, for me, outdated. You can have a new computer from two years ago in the box unopened, but then you could buy a newer, better one, for the same price. Anyway, the computer you mentioned, has a RESERVE PRICE on it. That means, until the bidder's SECRET minimum price is met, he will not sell it. I find also that on Sunday's paper has computer deals better than Ebay at times. And if you look around you can get a better deal.

It's nice but not a nice deal. I think you can buy an Apple refurb'd one for about the same and it'll be good as new, warranty included.
They have a reserve that's likely close to the Buy It Now price.

I agree with the first guy. It won't go for the starting bid price. The buy it now will get it or get real close.

welll...the feedback is ok..but the auction is just starting..and this is a newbie seller..i would try a seller with more buyer feedback but with more positive ones too
