nonmetals? are they substances that aren't metal?

Non-metals have different properties than metals. Nonmetals are not shiny like a metal. They don’t conduct electricity. They can not be deformed into a different shape. They are generally in the upper right corner of the periodic table.

non metals are on right hand side and they aren't metal!!
