It doesn't appear to me that Bush is ever troubled by self doubt.

I think his demeanor is a lot like Mr. Maggo's. He travels through his life totally imperceptive of the troubles he is causing around him. He is a walking talking (barely coherently) catastrophe that destroys or at least disrupts everything and everyone that he encounters.

Bush is a transplanted Southerner he was reaered in Kennbunlport but like daddy used his Texas oil business as a base for political office, I think it took him quite awhile to perfect his accent
