x=8

Simply raise both sides to the 3rd power.

[x^(1/3)]^3 = x^ (3/3) = x = 2^3 = 8

You could use logs but there is an easier way
X^(1/3)=2 cube both sides
x=8 done!
using logs
X^(1/3)=2 take log of both sides
1/3 log x=log 2 multiply both sides by 3
log x=3 log 2
log x=log 2^3=log 8 take anti log of both sides
x=8

You decide which method you like best.

if u know algebra 2 or calculus u could use natural log:
(1/3)ln(x)=ln2....multiply by 3 to get
ln(x)=3(ln2)....put an e on bouth sides to get:
x=2^3 or x=8
