i dunno how the hell to do free kicks on fifa 07. it was easier and better a few years back

what do you use to control the ball aswell?? can u swerve it wen its in the air or anything?

There are two strategies according to how close the ball is to the goal:
1) If the free kick is close to the goal, aim the shot fairly far away from the intended corner you wish te ball to end up in. Use little power, just tapping the shoot button. Once you elease the shot button, push te way you wan the ball to curl.
2) If the ball is far away from te goal, aim close to the corner you want the shot to go, use quite a lot of power and only tap the direction you want the ball to curl. This gives you the distance and not too much curl to slow it down.
In summary, if you're close, little power, lots of curl, if you're far away, lots of power, little curl.
If it's in between, look for the gap between the goalkeeper and the post, on theopposite site to the wall. Push up and shoot with medium power. This will give plenty of power and keep the ball low, which can sometimes catch the keeper off guard.
Try it in practice mode when you have 10 minutes

I score all the time with this trick. It is the "Top Spin" that to me is the easiest to get the hanging and the goalie can't block at all. Aim the ball slightly inside of the opposite pole the goalie is at. Power your kick to about 20% of the bar and press up on the right control stick. The ball should go over the wall and into the back of the net. Just keep practicing this one and you will score about 80% of the time. Just adjust the power if your closer or further away. This works for about a few feet outside the box.

dude is so easy...it's all about the power of the shot...been playing fifa for 4 yrs now and it's never been so easy..except for the 03 i think...anyway...if the spot is really close to the goal...try to tap the button....make sure the wall is paralel with the post! kinda hard to explain....main thing is not to hold the shotting button pressed for too long unless the kick is from far away...practice! u put the wall right next to the post..just close enough so u can still c the post...and u tap the button, got it?

move the arrows to align the ball after the wall, if the wall is on the right side then , to the right of the wall, if its on the left , to the left of the wall
after that u gotta find the rite power ( after a few tryis ull get it )
and curve the ball by pressin one of the arrows to curve the ball into the direction of the net.DO THIS RIGHT AFTER U PRESSED THE POWED (D ) and then -> or <- dependin... i know how to do it but its still difficult

the key is to not use that much power and aim so try to kick at half power and try it toward the goal or a person
