I like both places but which do others prefer and what is your favourite item on the menu to eat or drink?

At Denny's, I eat a number of things, mostly breakfast. At Chili's however, I ALWAYS go with the southwestern eggrolls, they are too good to deny. Overall, I like chili's better.

These are two resturants that can't be compared because they are so different. Chilis is more tex mex and Denny's in american fare comfort type foods. Although the prices are going to run about the same. Both have there good qualities and bad. As Tim Allen stated in the first Santa Claus "Denny's it always open" Its a good place to go after barhopping and there breakfast is very good. Chili's is good all on its own for there burgers, onion blossum and choc milkshakes.

I was in Boston last August and virtually lived in chillis, we were there through work and were staying at some long term rental apartments a short walk from there, we virtually lived in Chilli's, the staff were fabulous and the locals were really friendly, went into a Denny's once, didnt like it as much, besides Chilli's do some wicked steaks and tall glasses of Miller - which i had lots of, 10 in one session once :)
hope to get out and see everyone there again sometime.

Chili's. I have eaten at Denny's once and will never eat there again. The food is so gross I had a stomach ache for hours. I have never wanted to make myself vomit but after Denny's food I certainly considered it.

Chilis is far better but they don't do breakfasts like Dennys. I like the oriental chicken salad.

Chili's by FAR! They are a better class of restaurant and they have good food choices, including low fat options.

chili's is waaaay better than denny's. better quality... at least around here. my fave on the menu is actually their chicken noodle soup!
