No matter which political party you align with, we all have to admit that President George W. Bush has had an "interesting" presidency. Considering the current state of things (no need to elaborate here, assuming we've all been conscious during the past several years), are you for W., against, or have you switched sides?

Always been for him! I voted for him in his 1998 re-election as Texas Governor & twice for President as well as voting for his dad in 1992. And remember what the W really stands for, and that's "WHOOPASS"

I am a moderate conservative and my feelings towards W. as a leader has turned less and less favorable. He has disappointed me in handling his trials and tribulations. BUT, I would never say I was "AGAINST" any American President as far as while they are in office. Right now, it could be Kerry or Gore (who I still wouldn't vote for) and I wouldn't have a bumper sticker that says, "He's not MY president". How asinine! That is what we keep questioning and posting in our answers is how upset we are at the general appearance that so many have hated him to the point that they have lost all objectivity. Some may oppose war no matter who is president or what the reason, but many are only opposed due to a predisposition to hate anything associated w/Bush. I can't believe that if Clinton had faced the same incidents, had the same intelligence, and made the same decisions, that there would be all the opposition, accusations of lies, and conspiracy theories from the left. If that's true, it means that they are two-faced. No one should be against their country even if they didn't vote for the guy in power. This is why I truly hope the best for Pelosi & Reed in their tenure as leaders of our country.

Against.

I appreciated President Bush following 9/11 when he stood up and thumbed his nose at the terrorists and urged Americans to do the same and NOT be afraid.

I turned against President Bush when he switched sides and started governing by using fear.

I'm not really a supporter of W. However, for the first time since 9/11, I actually respected him for actually taking responsibility for the failure in Iraq.

I switched sides......I am very ashamed that I voted for this........thing we call our leader. Our leader is someone we should be proud of and want to encourage but who could continue to encourage THAT.

Have disagreed with many of his decisions, but i agree with his assessment of the Iraq situation. Defeat is not an option. It is too important to our national security!
