As much as I don't like to believe it I do believe it can and will happen sooner or later. No, we cannot fight terrorism. It will be every individual here who will have to be vigilent. Homeland security is a joke...you are not protected so don't ever think you will be saved. Protect yourself. It is your responsibility if you want to live. Could the firemen save those people at the World trade center? No. Why do we build buildings so tall they become death traps? Think twice about attending a big game in a place where thousands could be killed in an instant, a mall, a movie theatre, anywhere there are big crowds...high numbers of fatalities is what they'll aim for...an airport terminal, Penn Station, etc. Don't go and if you must don't linger...if you value your life. Nobody is going to tell you that because it is not good for the economy...and God help the economy at all costs in America. Use your head even if others don't. Learn to protect yourself and above all think! Your life depends on it.

When you evaluate this 'info' being given to you (remember the last dirty bomber, an american citizen stripped of all rights and now driven mad (by the govt's own admission) because of their torture of an american citizen) who, it turns out, never really had a dirty bomb or access to one at all?)
When you evaluate this info, remember the man gunned down in broad daylight, shot multiple times in the head on a city street. He was killed by the british govt and why they murdered him kept changing. First, it was for wearing a long suspicious coat in July. Only he wasn't wearing it! Then it was.... oh never mind, the good sheep won't pay attention anymore, they'll stop being afraid and start being afraid of BOO terrorists... But, the man the british govt murdered lived in the apt building with some of the 7/7 'terrorists' - some of whom had children and all of whom bought parking lot space for their cars and round trip tickets as they boarded to blow up the trains. The govt never had a reason they'd tell about why they blew that man's brains onto the sidewalk, but thinking about it could be useful when you get 'info' about terrorists who might attack us.
What is a terrorist? Hard to define. Terror is a tactic, and a person who uses it may be a terrorist, I guess. But, then, clearly George Bush is a terrorist for he has been leading an army that has killed thousands of innocent people, including hundreds of innocent children.
So, America is already controlled by a group of terrorists, it's true. And, saddest of all, they are not motivated by a desire to end oppression like many so-called terrorists who, unlike Bush, don't have a state army to do their killing for them (thereby rendering Bush's terror legitimate in the minds of people who don't rub two thoughts together on a regular basis.) The bush crime family is merely motivated by greed and by power for its own sake.
Orwellianation.org is something to check out, I hear. Haven't been to the site yet, but your question reminds me that it's time.
PS Most terrorism experts say al queda does not exist in the form hyped by bush and we know that bush let bin laden escape at tora bora. Why????

Depends on what you consider a terrorist..many historians define the American Revolutionary soldiers as the precursors to our contemporary terrorists...the American Revolution was fought by a few men who would perform sneak attacks on a large organized militia...maybe what goes around..comes around?

Society'.....the 'enemy' among us......'profiling' will keep us safe?
The 'dirty' bomb is fear....information or disinformation....fear creeps around edges of everything after 911....example ??
the TV series 24.....
"The Sky is Falling" Maybe Chicken Little was right ....Quite
frankly, I'm surprised the weapons haven't gone off......

Terrorists are never in control of any government. They use the terror tactic to try and change government policy. Once a group gains control of a country, they are the government whether for good or bad. There is no longer any need for them to rely on terror tactics because then they will have control of the military and can use conventional military force.

unfortunatly, yes, the united states will be controlled by terrorists sooner or later, mostly because, they could launch one of their nuclear bombs any day now. And from my opinion, I think that president Bush made alot of huge mistakes. number one, he shouldn't have let any of the Iraq people come here because now they can communicate with each other and do you remenber when his father was president? His dad quit in the middle of his job! That is probably what Bush is ganna do when we get to the mid point of this war, he will walk out on us.
Dont get me wrong, but I think Bush is a great President, but we will just have to see the decisions he makes next and hope for the best.

well, if what we call "terrorists" ever take over, they will not refer to themselves as such. "terrorists" tend to think of themselves as freedom fighters. you know, kind of like in the revolutionary war, when the colonists were fighting for their freedom. in a way, "terrorists" control the country now. its all in the eye of the beholder.
