I have fairly regular 26 day cycles and want to know what day of my cycle I am most likely ovulating on.

As a general rule, ovulation occurs two weeks before your period arrives - 26 minus 14 days would be day 12 for you.
However, this is not *always* the case - some women ovulate very early and have long luteal phases (the time between ovulation and menstruation), or ovulate late and have very short luteal phases. The only ways to know for sure when you ovulate are to monitor your temperature or cervical mucous, or use an ovulation predictor kit, which will detect Lh, the hormone that surges prior to ovulation.

Count 26 days ahead from the 1st day of your last period. for example your last period started on the 9th which would put you on the 4th of next month. Then count backwards 14 days. which would put you on the 21st. the 21st thru the 27 should be your ovulating week. 23-25 being your high days. Best chances is looking for signs..slightly mucousy when wiping after bathroom breaks, temperature up slightly. You can purchase an ovulation test to tell as well.

Your temperature tells you. In general, it's about the middle of the cycle, but you can take your temperature every morning, and when it's elevated by about a half a degree, that is the day you ovulate.
And it's normal to be extra frisky during ovulation, also. Best of luck.
