I don't mean any disrespect, heck half my family is red necks. But i can just see it now " Ed and Jeds fuelin station" wouldn't that be awesome i mean 90% of the red necks have the pioneering spirit any way, plus with the colourful vernacular space travel would be a lot more fun.

the only problem is that they would not be very safe

If your shuttlecraft has ever backfired and wiped out an emerging lifeform on your hanger deck...
If you have ever had to scale a Titan III rocket with a bucket of paint to defend your sister's honor...
