You have to install the CD (if you have it), or download the program from apple's site. Then just plug your iPod to the computer and it wil know what to do!! (iTunes will start and you can start transferring music to iTunes and from there to your iPod).

I'm assuming that you mean that you want to download your itunes library, and not the itunes software.... Just plug your ipod into your computer using the USB connector. iTunes software will recognize the iPod, and walk you through the download.

you could try going to mac.com or looking at yr manual that came with yr iPod.. those really help!
