Actually, re-sale shops in wealthy neighborhoods have pretty good stuff. The trick is to find the right size and fit. Take your time and look around at many shops.
Goodwill and Salvation army have a lot, but they are not as selective about quality as a re-sale shop. Re-sale shops weed out the worn and stained stuff before buying.

Depending on your financial situation, I'd try Penney's. If you go to a men's specialty shop, you'll end up paying more money. I especially like Penney's because they will fit you properly with a blazer, etc. & if alterations are needed, it is sent out, & usually the waiting time is short, & you don't have to pay for that service.

Take a look at your local Goodwill, or thriftshops. With a little patience, you will find what you are looking for.
