I don't know how to do it, but I think it's hot FWIW.

The best way to really know how to do it, is to go to the makeup counter and have them show you the first time. MAC will even give you a diagram with a picture of the eye and where each color is supposed to go. I went to MAC which I praise for their eye shadows and lip glosses...

Anyway, I have mastered this so let me try to give you the best instructions that I can:

First apply a neutral base color to entire eye. Then (and there are mulitple color combos that you can use), put a grey/silver eyeshadow on the lid only. Next take a brush and put a little darker silver into the inner crease of your eye until a little past half way. (use brush like http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/products/sp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY15083&PRODUCT_ID=PROD139 ) Then, take a darker grey and use same brush. AFter putting brush in powder, tap against finger to shake off any excess.
Then make mini circles starting at the upper outer corner (make sure it's a little higher than the actual corner or you will look like a raccoon). Use this brush and eye color and blend up until the crease where the last color left off.

Finally, use an eyeliner brush ( like this: http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/products/sp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY15083&PRODUCT_ID=PROD6847 ) and use a black eyeshadow. I use 'carbon' from Mac. Staying as close to the eye lashes as possible(and shaking off excess powder before starting) line both the top and bottom lashes.

Finally use a pencil brush like this :
http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/products/sp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY15083&PRODUCT_ID=PROD1533
and take the darker grey shadow you used for the corner and touch up the corner as well as go under your eye with it.

Finish up by putting a light pink under eyebrow. Also get a shadow color that matches your eyebrow and fill them in a little with the same brush you used for the liner. With so much make up on your eyes, you have to do that to make everything seem uniform.

FYI: If you are interested, I use the MAC shadows Electra for the base and Print for the outer corners.

Good luck. It's really all in the brushes you use! (and don't tell too many people)

OK, pencil eyeliner will work just fine. Simply line the eye and when you get to the very corner make a slight check mark. Also to make the cat eyes really stand out create a smokey look by using darker colors on the lid and gradually get lighter as you move up and highlight just under the brow with a shimmer.

u can do this w/ either liquid or pencil :)

apply eyeshadow.. i usually put a light lavendar on lash line to above the crease.... then a darker purple only at the crease to create more depth.

tilt ur head Back, and look Downwards into the mirror w/ ur eyes. u get really good visual of ur eyelid if u do this. start at inner corner of eye, try to stay as close to the lash line as possible. if u can, try dotting in between lashes as well, and feather ur way across in short strokes if u can't do it in one long stroke. just practice! when u get about 3/4 of the way, instead of following ur eyelid downwards, go Straight and slightly Upwards... don't make the line too long or u'll look like cleopatra! :) but u can try to make the line thicker at that outer part of the eye. when u look normally into the mirror, u will see that the line naturally goes upwards, and the idea is to look like an extension of the eyelash line. if u want, u can also smudge the ends slightly to look as if it is going upwards as well. good luck~

a pencil eyeliner will work just as well as liquid, but it will look softer and not "precise". just make sure that your eyeliner is well-sharpened. line your eyes and extend the line past the outer corner of the eye (how much you extend the line is up to you). then go over that with an eyeshadow that is close to the color of your eyeliner.

easssy i always have my eyeliner liek this, u have an eye pencil but if its quite hard then warm it infront of afire, go under the eye with a thick line and then along the tiop, dont work how big but bout 1/4 of ur lid and then drag the line to the otehr line on the bottom and theslightly brign the pencil to the corner of ur eye and flick oout, not hard. Practice.

make sure you have a pointy tip, you can do it with your eyes slightly open or closed. with the tip go right along your eye lashes (you can even make dots) don't make it thick just yet. when you get to the corner of your eye put a tail on it like a lil 'v' then you can thicken it out. jsut go slow and have pacience if your just learning. and if you use a pencil for the bottom or a liner brush it looks real hot when you do the smokey eye look and smudge it out.

Sharpen your pencil, and Go over the upper lid, then, open your eyes relly wide and lay the point into the outer corner of your eye, quickly wing the liner out and up, about a 1/8 inch. There you have it.

Apply it thin on the insides of your eyes then make gradually thicker while going outward on your eyes. Liquid liner is the best for this, other liners will just smudge and frustrate you!
Good luck.

I use loose powder eyeshadow and apply it with a slightly wet chinchilla hair brush. It looks the same as liquid eyeliner, but it's easier to apply.

Loreal Liquid Eyeliner- I believe its called "Line Intensifique"
If you can use a pen, you can use this-its great! My little sister had the same problem and I bought her this-she swears by it now!
