my fish died what should i do?

i have 2 other fish what should i do, the fish died with little white dots on it,

ick clean the tank and then treat with salt and ick medication. Problem should be solved

First off flush the dead fish. Do a 20-25% water change in the tank if it is 10 gallons or more. If it is a smaller tank/bowl remove the live fish and clean the tank with hot water. You can try to use a mild solution of white vinegar mixed with water. Make sure the tank is rinsed very well with clean water if you use the vinegar.

You need to get a good ich/ick medication from a Pet Store. Quick Cure by Aquarium Products is normally very good at killing the ich, make sure you use the product for the full 14 days even if the ich is gone.

You can also try CopperSafe by Mardel Laboratories, again you will want to use it for the full 30 days to kill any eggs that may still be around.

Maybe you should take the fish to a pet store where they sell fish & ask someone if they know what caused the spots on the fish. Maybe that way, you can do something to protect the two remaining fish. Good luck!!!!

ya it sounds like ick my brother had about twelve fish and one got it this summer and all but one died and the worst part is some of the fish were six seven years old but a simple ich treatment should fix it.

you got ick -- the other fish might get it too -- depending on the kind of fish you have you can do water changes frequently to kill the bacteria that were feeding on your dead fish. get some ick med from the pet store or walmart. keep your tank warm -- ick most often takes over when fish are chilled.

your fish have a common fish diease called ick, you can go to a local pet store and but a medicine i hade fish and they had ick but after a couple weeks the fish were better good luck and pick me for the best 1 lol thx

Search on google to find out what the cause of death is so you can make sure the other fish don't get it too. Also clean out the tank. You can bury the dead fish.

Sorry about your fish. Bury your little fishy, or flush it, it depends what feels appropriate.

This is a disease called ick. Go to your pet store and buy treatment for your water, ask your pet store staff for details and help for what to do.

I would say fry it up in some nice butter sauce, but since it seems it was sick when it died, probably better not to do that. Just flush it.

flush it, if u died u would wanna get buried and im sure a fish would wanna be put in water.
