I wanna go , so I want to know because I have a phobia with the snakes and the scorpions

Please, for the love of God please will people stop saying St. Patrick actually banished snakes from Ireland. It was a metaphor for paganism. And it is not why we celebrate St. Patrick's Day. We celebrate him bringing us en masse into the christian community which lead to education and a singular identity with the guiding principles of christianity.
Hence we know that there are no snakes or scorpians in Ireland cause God likes us best :p (I hope nobody takes this too serious, as I am only taking the mickey)

Ireland has the same kind of climate as England, so definitely no scorpions, it's way too cold. There are no snakes either, in fact you's be hard pressed to find any dangerous animals. The only native reptile is the Common Lizard (and they really aren't that common!). Have a look at the link for more information.

Ireland is the one place where snakes and scorpions don't live. The whole St. Patricks day celebration is all about there being no snakes in Ireland.

Adder, Grass Sake, Smooth Snakes, all quite scarce to find.As far as scorpions go I thinK any variety is minute, rare and not toxic. I would not worry about any of them!

well theres no snakes, because st. patrick kicked 'em out.
and the environment is too moist for scorpions, so i highly doubt it.
your risk of dying from snakebite are pretty slim, so don't let your phobia keep you from ireland.
