first you need to find the lowest common denomenator which is 96.
32 goes into 96 3 times so you must do to the numerator whatever you do to the denominator.
11/32 = 33/96
do the same with 7/24 24 goes into 96 4 times so
7/24=28/96
Now you can add the two together
33/96+28/96=61/96 this is already the simplist form because nothing goes into both 61 or 96
11/32+7/24=61/96

11/32 + 7/24

you need to find the common denominator, which is 96

multiply the first fraction by 3
3 x 11 = 33
3 x 32 = 96
so your first fraction is 33/96

multiple your 2nd fraction by 4
4 x 7 = 28
4 x 24 = 96
so your second fraction is 28/96

now your new fractions are 33/96 and 28/96

your new math problem is 33/96 + 28/96
simply add the top two numbers together 33 + 28 = 61
the bottom number stays the same 96

so your answer is 61/96
