If you meant "wax", spread a brown paper bag over the hardened wax, and iron the bag with a warm iron. The paper will absorb the wax. More tips..

need more info, a good guality vacuum, with an new bag to ensure more suction will get most things out of a carpet. Vacuum one direction, then go sideways across the same area. If you still have residual in the carpet, consider having it being professionally cleaned
