It's always best to ask medical professionals medical questions, but you are hardly the first woman in this situation. I sincerely doubt that a few drinks here and there will affect your baby. Many countries encourage pregnant women to drink. Fetal alcohol syndrome is generally seen in women who drink heavily all the way through their pregnancy. However, you should discuss this with your doctor at your next appointment.

Honestly, I had the same thing. I whopped up New years a 2 years ago, had an injury and was in the hospital all dopped up on pain meds (was sledding with my step son, not a good choice if I would of known I was pg, then I proceeded to get throwen off) and then 2 weeks later found out i was 2 months pg. I don't think you have to worry much. I really wouldn't worry about it unless the doctors said something. It's actually common to not know and you can only imagine some people's lifestyles before they find out!! GOOD LUCK!!

Highly doubtful. 3 drinks a couple of times is not likely to hurt your baby.
There was one time in my pregnancy, before I knew, that I went out and got trashed. I mean...2 beers, 4 shots of tequila, a few kamikazes. A lot of alcohol. But my kids are just fine.
I'm not advocating drinking during pregnancy by any means. As soon as I knew I stopped all alcohol consumption. But be reassured. Talk to your doctor...they will most likely tell you the same thing.
Be happy!!! You're doing one of the greatest things you'll ever do in your whole life!!!
Good Luck!

Doubtful if you have made it to 4.5 months and haven't miscarried yet. Your baby's placenta is quite mature by this time and will filter most of the bad stuff out... this doesn't mean having drinks while you're pregnant wont do anything to the baby... it just means the chances of it causing long term affects from 2 nights is seriously slim. If they offer you a maternal screening, take it... they'll take blood and do an ultrasound and put any of your fears at ease.

I know lots of women who didn't realize they were pregnant and probably drank more than that. Their babies were all healthy babies, I don't believe you have anyhting to worry about. They aren't exactly sure how much alcohol is safe to drink that is the only reason they tell you not to drink any at all. Just stay away from any alcohol now that you do know you are pregnant.

Congratulations on your pregnancy. You should not drink or take
any illegal drugs. Take drugs only prescribed by a doctor, I hope
you are attending a clinic, do you have health Insurance? When
a mother drink she poses a lot of danger to the fetus, one teaspoon of alcohol and the baby is screaming, mommy, stop I
can not handle it,my stomach, I'm about to be sick, I'm dizzy.
You love your baby, stop the drinking now, read good books,
dance exercise, and play soft music close to your tummy, they
love music.I 'm wishing you a safe delivery. Make an appointment
to see a Doctor now. Good luck. Ladyd

Don't worry - nothing will be wrong. I also did not know I was pregnant in my first month and drank a little. My son turned out just fine. While pregnant I traveled though Europe and I was offered wine or beer with dinner all the time. They don't think of it as a big of an issue as we do here and as far as I know their babies are just as healthy. In fact beer is given to pregnant women to help bring in the milk in many contries. & from personal experience one or two glasses of wine while your in labour is a great way to help you relax.

Your baby is going to be fine.. As long as you stop drinking and not do any drugs she/he will be fine. I am talking about personal experience when I was pregnant with my daughter, I had no clue that I was pregnant and I went out with my girlfriends and we all got totally drunk. A month later I find out that I was pregnant and I was so scared too because I really didn't know.
A few month's later I had a healthy little girl.
Don't worry take your prenantal pills, eat well, get lots of rest and believe me your child will be healthy and beautiful.. Good Luck to you....

Chances are... no. Not at all. I did the same thing both times when I was pregnant and didn't know it. Three drinks isn't that much. You're fine and I'm sure the baby is too, don't worry.
