Ladies when you were pregnant with a girl or a boy was your bump a particular shape.?

I carried my boys at the front and didn't look pregnant from the back. My daughter lay across the front and made me barrel shaped! Whats you experience?

i have 2 boys and 2 girls,when i was carrying the boys,you couldnt tell i was pregnant from the back,but with my daughters i put weight on my stomach,thighs and bum.

I carried my boys at the front and didn't look pregnant from the back as well and I did not start showing until I was twenty-twenty-one weeks. Everyone kept telling me that I was carrying girls by the way my stomach was. Some thing about if you carry the baby upwards that it is a boy and downwards it is a girl there goes another myth-(out the window) Best wishes to you and yours.

I have 4 children and I could always tell what I was having by the way that I was carrying all my boys I carried high up and my daughter I carried low. It may be a myth because I experienced it and it worked for me I totally believe in it.

Yes my shape was enourmous! I suppose more out front Had boy but also my bum was huge but think this was all the unnecessary excess of excess weight I put on 5stone!!!(70lb) All in last 5 month as normally really wath what eat, but I just ate more had cravings for bacon and mushroom sandwiches and usually steer clear of bread, plus stopped diet drinks/artificial sweetner because of aspartamine so had sugar and full sugar drinks. Staying clear of this, this time as am already a stone and half over last times start point!!!

Dont be fooled :) I have 2 girls. My first one I carried High and had no problems with as far as heartburn, morning sickness, nothing. That is why I was positive that my second GIRL was a boy.. because I carried her really low.. was nauseas all the time.. people couldnt even mention the work french fry or I would get sick :) I also had really bad heartburn with her. So I carried them both different and they both are Girls :) Good Luck :)

I am laughing here, your description echoes mine exactly!!
With all 3 girls I was a barrel shape and with my 2 boys I had a lovely basketball at the front!!

With my daughter i had morning sickness and my son i didnt. With my son (first pregnancy) i just had a neat bump at the front (put on 3 stone) and with my daughter i was bigger all round and put on weight on my hips (although i only put on a stone and a half). I was right both times, i think you have a hunch yourself which sex it is.

Ps ask your midwife when listening to the heartbeat, my first midwife knew the difference, but seeing its 10 years ago i cant remember what the diff was!

different halves memories are literally not precise for each being pregnant. the tale is all out the front will be a boy and spread out will be a lady. yet another is carrying intense is lady and espresso is boy. i'm 30 weeks pregnant carrying all out the front and so low i'm able to infrequently walk and that's a lady!

I think it depends on your shape to start with. I had just a bump at the front, and had a boy, my friend just had a bump at the front and had a girl!!

I've had one boy and i carried him low and sort of got big all the way around (he laid transverse lie for most of it).... and now i'm pregnant with my second boy and i'm only pregnant up front. Most tell me i don't even look pregnant from the back. So I guess it's different for everbody.
