I've been working out, pretty steady for a month or so. I find that my joints are getting sore from my workouts (feels like tendinitis). I'm feeling it in my left elbow on a consistent basis. I've been checking my workout form, and everything seems to be by the book (no improper strain on tendons or joints). I take no supplements whatsoever, just good ol' fashioned high protein/carb foods after my workouts. I hear that there are natural supplements out there that people take to prevent joint pain, but I dunno...I'm not a pill guy. Any suggestions on what I should do?

You may be doing the wrong exercizes. A lot of exercizes in the west tear down the body instead of building the body up.

Try one of these.

Qigong
Tai Chi
Pillates
Yoga

As far as I am concerned; Aerobics Tae Bo, jogging, etc are very dangerous, and hurt a lot of people.

The body was not intended for these jerky sudden movements, and a lot of people get hurt.

If you go to a health food store, the practicioner will probably tell you that you are not getting enough oxygen into your joints. A lack of oxygen, such as holding your breath, when you're doing reps can also lead to a build-up of lactic acid in the muscles. I used to have a lot of pain in my knees due to this problem until I started drinking oxygenated water. The bottles vary in price from $1- $1.75 per bottle. the best brands are O2Go and Hi-O silver. The water is put through a process that in addition to purifying it, pumps it full of 5-6 times the oxygen of regular water. The first time I tried it, I felt like someone had rubbed Vicks Vapor Rub all over my chest, and my lungs felt flooded with oxygen within 20 minutes. It's a cheap - no pill- treatment that you could try. Oh by the way, that helpful health food store practicioner will probably try to get you to buy a pill based supplement that ranges in price from $30-$130 per 30 day supply. Hope this advice helps.

Soak in a tub of hot water. When you get out of the tub do not dry off. Rub your legs with a good moisturizing lotion and elevate them for an hour. Your legs will feel great!!!!!!!
