As long as there isn't too much cheese on it, it's actually quite good for you. If you are worried about fat you could make your own pizza with half fat cheese.

Pizza can be healthy if you prepare it yourself. That way you can control the ingredients. Cut back on greasy meats like sausage and pepperoni and add more vegetables or mushrooms. You can also choose low-fat cheese as a topping, but keep the amount of cheese modest. Try these recipes and tips:

Yet all these people that answered won't touch a pizza, however, will willingly sit and scarf down a McDonald's Big Mac.........A couple of slices of cheese pizza with a healthy green salad is a pretty balanced meal......

Better than a Big Mac, SuperSize Fries and a Chocolate Shake, now, which sounds healthier???

The thing that I still can't fathom is that human beings actually EAT at fast food restaurants at all......It totally blows me away.....

Technically-pizza should be healthy. It has grains in the crust, tomatoes in the sauce, cheese on top and sometimes meat. The thing is: The crust is fatty (all crusts-even pie crusts are fatty), the tomatoe sauce, like most tomatoe sauces is high in sodium, and the cheese is fatty (always fatty) and sometimes greasy. The meat is usually greasy and loaded with sodium and cholesterol. NO pizza is healthy! Eat some if you don't care about weight gain or if you'll burn off the calories but pizza is quite fatty and unhealthy! An occassional slice is fine, but not too often!

no, pizza in general isnt great for you. the dough they use for the pizzas has tons and tons of carbs, and the cheese is soooo greasy. pizza is just something cheap and quick to get for people who dont like to cook. its definetely not good for you. some places are trying to start healthier dough for the pizzas. or even get thin crust would help a little bit. dont eat pizza very often.

it all depends what kind of cheese is used in the pizza; cow-cheese is much more harmfull for your health then cheese de "chèvre"

Its okay, depending on how often you eat it. Every once in a while is okay, but not everyday. Providing that its is dipping with cheese you should be alright
