White dots.......?

my fish has white dots on it, and the fish it not eating what should i do

ick like you last question will kill all your fish if unattended, you should add salt 1 teaspoon per 2 gallons and buy some of the medicine, last of all higher up the temp should fry those little pests

If you're truly troubled by this, take him to an expert. Otherwise, here's my 2 cents...

Without seeing your fish I will say it's one of two things. Ich (or "ick", same disease, different spelling) is an external parasite that will look like your fish has been covered in tiny grains of salt. They're little white dots that ususally start on the fins and spread to the body.

Or a fungus. Treat the fish with Binox. This is a product from Jungle Laboratories. It will treat the fungus plus a lot of other fungal diseases. Follow the direction and mix with water before you put it in the tank.

Sounds like it's probably ich. You can either get some medicine, such as Methylene Blue or Malachite Green, from a petstore to try to remedy it, or you can try adding a small amount of sea salt or aquarium salt (not table salt) to your water. The sea salt should only be added if you have a salt tolerant species, such as guppies or mollies.

the fish has a disease called ick. go to a pet shop and get a bottle of ick removal and it should help it. it worked for my fish

IT PROBABLY HAS ICK A DISEASE AND CAN BE TREATED BY ICK MEDICINE FROM THE PET STORE JUST ASK A HELPER TO HELP YOU IF YOU NEED HELP FINDING IT
