I would like to learn how to accentuate my eyes with mascara and eyeliner especially in terms of them being absolutely striking in photos because I sometimes pose for a local artist. Any tips on brands of makeup or application tips?

i'd say put on a two tone eyeshadow, lighter from lash line to brow and darker from lash line to crease.. emphasis the outer crease for more depth.

add liquid or pencil eyeliner (black), start from inner corner and stay as close to lash line as possible. what i do is tilt my head back, and stare into the mirror Downwards w/ my eyes... u can see ur lashes better that way. apply in feathered strokes along the lash line, dot in between lashes as well. when u get 3/4 of the way across, go Straight and Upwards slightly. when u look normally into the mirror u will have a bit of a cat eye, it opens the eyes. also, get a white or gold highlighting pencil or shadow, apply to Lower lash line. get mascara and apply to upper eyelashes, concentrating on outer lashes. :D good luck

Oh, Liquid eyeliner stands out the best and a little fake eyelashes are my favorite. To make your eyes look like a candle light is glowing apply a light shimmer color ( white or sliver) in the center of the eye lid and blend. Also use a white eyeliner (pencil) on the lower part of your eyes to really make them pop!

Black eyeliner always stands out. But be sure to go light on the rest of your makeup so the focus stays on your eyes.

Holi is the festival of color which is celebrated to mark the beginning of spring. People throw colored powders and gulal or abeer powders on each other.. The ritual is based on the story of Krishna and Gopi as well as on Krishna's playful splashing of the maids with water.
