Juicy Juice works wonders! I drank about 50 oz a day when pregnant with my second child, to do just what you are asking for help with.

High fiber foods like raisin bran and triskets are also good.

For many years I experienced various degrees of constipation problems. Now I'm always in good shape except when I'm travelling. In addition to also being a big believer in and user of the above fruit and veg ideas, for me the real key solution was the type of cereal I ended up choosing.

It is by Kellogg's Canada and called All-Bran Buds with Psyllium. When you check the fibre content of other cereals you'll be shocked at how little some of them have. For example, Quaker Oats, (One Minute), which my husband swears by, has 3 grams of fibre per 1/3 cup. Two Quaker Muffets contain 5 grams of fibre.

However, 1/3 cup of All-Bran Buds with Psyllium has 12 grams of fibre which is about half the daily requirement of 25 grams. I usually also add a variety of fruits: a banana, a pear and 4 or so dried apricots which I keep in water in the fridge so they are softer. Other times of the year I'll also use strawberries and blueberries. I eat this every morning. I know it might sound boring but I enjoy it and I know it works. It's also one less thing to have to figure out in the day.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

On a daily basis, eat a big green salad each day--- I fill at least half my dinner plate with salad, the other half with whatever else I'm eating. And always choose whole grains--- lots of fiber.
For a once in a while problem, or need for a cleanse, there are a lot of herbal "cleanse' products, teas etc. Sometimes the teas cause cramping, though.
I take a handful of vitamin C (at least 8,000 units) for the occasional problem--- Will have major action by morning, but no cramps.

Anything high in fiber - dried fruits are great, oranges, bananas, apples
High fiber cereal - Kashi - Good friends, Go Lean, Go Lean Crunch
also - Raisin Bran, Fiber one
Use whole wheat pasta instead of regular pasta
Vegetables - carrots, celery, tomatoes, etc.
Popcorn - (low fat is healthier) is a great snack that is high in fiber

Also when you eat high fiber food - drink lots of water - if you aren't careful many of the high fiber foods will absorb the fluid in your intestines and can make you constipated.

Are you talking about a cleansing? Or just foods to help keep you regular? Fruit juice fast are good for a cleanse. No more that 3 days. Other wise just eat a variety of fruits and veggies, and make sure you drink lots of water and your good to go. ; )

Coffee works wonders. I drink a cup a day and Im good to go... Other foods are dried apricots, prunes, broccoli... anything high in fiber. Or you could get one of those fiber additives to put on your food. That way you can eat anything and it has loads of fiber for you.

Coffee usually works, apple juice, prune juice, you can mix prune juice, apple juice and cranberry juice together and heat it up. There are lots of things to eat, high fiber foods. Good luck with that.
