I never pray the same way twice. I find my conversation with God tends to be more about frustration in dealing with life.

Confession and Thanksgiving. I try not to ask. There are so many in the world who need blessings far more than I do. If I do ask, it is for guidance.

I try to listen, but I think I ask more. I try to also thank him instead of just asking & I try to focus on others needs, but it seems like my prayers turn full circle back to my needs.

i've done it both ways. lately i've just been asking for what I want. Like a job, a husband. is that too much to ask for. i still have neither.
