These companies add all the gossip and fashion junk but never the good channels people want .

Which channels are you looking for? They have to pay those channels to carry it on their network. Too expensive and they won't carry it or it will be a premium channel. I am betting that the gossip channels don't cost that much to add.

I totally agree. We have channels on our cable that I NEVER watch (over half of them) but u have to pay for them if I get any good channels at all. We have like 20 music channels and at least 3 channels that are nothing but SPanish speaking.. 3 or 4 channels of sports..it's pathetic.. I had premium channels but I was paying $8.00 for the couple I was watching.. the cable companies KNOW what shows and channels are famous and so they won't allow them to be part of the "package"..it's always extra.. HBO here is like $15.00 a month..
