When it comes to my money,I'm a pack rat,LOL I only buy things for myself that are on sale.Except for my shoes.I work in a hospital and you need a good pair of nurses shoes.Being on your feet all day can really get them dogs barking,LOL.$80.00 is not too much to spend for shoes.
However, when I am buying for others,I don't skimp on the price.I'm a giver and it doesn't matter what the price is.if I see something that I think a friend or family member would like,I buy it.

jeans/pants, No more then $60.
sweaters/hoodies, No more then $40.
jewelry, I don't wear that much..
shoes, No more then $80..
Most of the time i just wear a tank top with lace or something (for around $8/15) under a jacket. They don't cost much and are very comfortable.

I'm pretty cheap when it comes to clothes, usually I can find really nice things for great prices.
for jeans I usually will not pay more than 20 bucks, once I found a pair of really nice gap jeans for three dollars marked down from fifty.
Sweaters and hoodies- about 20-30 bucks is my max.
Jewelry- i usually find stuff on sale, if I really like it I'll pay 30 bucks at max. the least I've paid for earrings is one dollar.
Shoes- about 10 bucks ideally, but I'll pay up to 20
Basically, I try not to spend more than twenty dollars on one article of clothing, but I'll splurge every so often for something I really like.

I've spent more on special occasion, but USUALLY:
jeans-any where from $30 to $200
pants-$40 to $300
sweaters-$30 to $180
-jewlery-$40 to $10,000
-shoes- $80 to $400
All depends on how nice of stuff I'm getting and for what... work, dress, casual, special occasion ..etc...

jeans/pants - ±R500 (for Levi's)
sweaters/hoodies - depends on the brand ± R250
jewlery anything form R15 - R30 000 +
shoes - again, depends on the brand ± R80 - R1 300 +

Read the papers. Wait till someone like Dilliards or Macy have the 75% off, and then you can buy namebrand clothes cheaper than clothes say in Wal-Mart. Where else can you buy GUESS jeants for $12.50. Works for me.

I hate spending alot on clothes it seems so stupid to me, it all looks the same and I wreck the expensive stuff just as easily as the cheap stuff. I don't like to spend more than a tenner on a top, George at Asdas and Tesco's work for me just fine.
