It is possible to be pregnant and still have a period, i would suggest she does a test and visits her doctor that's the only way to tell for sure, some people don't even realize there pregnant until they have the baby.
Sounds like your a good friend she will appreciate your help.

Some women do, but it depends on her age or if she's lying or not. It has been known to happen but it is not common. If she takes a home pregnancy test it'll probably come out negative espically if she's had heavy bleeding or normal periods. And you say "she has been getting her period" well thats more than 1 month so there's something fishy about that to me she may feel pregnant but it's probably just all in her head because PMS symptoms is MUCH like pregnancy symptoms.

Try reading some articles on webmd. She should also take a pregnancy test or go to the doctor. I have worked in a pharmacy and seen many cases where this has happened. So make sure she takes care of herself.

Hello
Yes actually several people I forget the medical term for it but it can happen.
If she is so sure she is pregnant she should take a test. Just one of the kits from the pharmacy will do. It will show positive if she is as it reads the hormones in the urine.
Hope this helped.

It actually happened to me for my first pregnancy. I was 2 months pregnant before I even thought I was pregnant, because I had a regular period. My OBGYN told me there was nothing wrong, and that some women just do that. He was right....I have a perfectly healthy 7 year old now.

If your friend is pregnant, technically, she can't be getting a period. However, it is possible for her to experience early pregnancy bleeding, which might seem like a period.
She should definitely take a pregnancy test; or visit her doctor to be sure.

I have heard that it is possible during the first couple months of being pregnant, but higly unlikely. She should really get a pregnancy test done if she is positive she is pregnant.

some women have their period the entire time they are pregnant or have spotting. if she believes that she is pregnant she needs to take a test. tell her to go to the drug store and purchase one. clear blue easy works pretty well.
