The cartoon was actually called 'It's the Wolf' made by Hanna-Barbera. About a little lamb who shouted it out when the wolf tried to get him and the big St Bernard type dog would appear and beat the wolf up

It was a very cute little lamb. Was it Lambchop?I can't remember if that is the right name or not, but I do know what you are talking about because the poor little thing would always be running around trying to warn about the wolf and it would always get the best of the wolf.

I think Sherry's been on the sherry! Ignore her. Lamb Chop was a sock!!!!! Seriously.... a white sock on some ladies hand and she'd talk to it (and we - to our everlasting shame - would watch it!).RRrrrr (that was me shivering at the thought)
