How do you think Europe and Asia would be today if we wouldn't have ever bothered helping, beginning with World War One.
I wish we would've gotten into it myself but after Germany and Japan took over everything else they would've came here.
I'd like to set back and watch the third world war start with out our help to stop it and see how it turns out, we should only fight wars that directly effect us from now on.

Honestly, when the US sits back and lets the world take care of themselves, half the world begs for the US to join in the fight. Anyone remember World War 2?

Just to answer Sean point not all of Europe was in the war. Either first of second world war. Secondly did the USA set it self up as a so called "police force of the world" and the question is who ask them to? I don't recall anyone asking them to. As someone has mention on this pity you don't deal with your own affairs instead of mengling in other countries affairs.

It would not be responsible to just ignore the damage and hurt caused by evil people, when we, who have been given so much, have the ability to help.
Is the world better because of our help - YES! Has it always gone as well as we hoped -No.

Well the way I see it if it wasn't for the U,S, we all would be speaking Russian or German so I would say they have done a lot for the world, let's just hope they keep it up, I'm from Canada.

If we didn't, it wouldnt be done. Only America cares enough to lay down their life for their friends. Only America cares about other people and giving other people better lives. We honestly believe freedom is worth fighting for. I believe "Who the Lord sets free is free indeed."
